Mary O’Brien-Killeen – away from the world of work

Mary enjoys a healthy outdoor life and brings her dogs (a 12 year old Afghan and a 5 year old Samoyed Husky) on daily walks – actually a stroll with the old dog and a quick jog with the very active Samoyed.

CLAREMORRIS – Mary O’Brien-Killeen, T: 094 95 42965.

The weekends are busy times as her two college-going daughters return with the washing and avail of stacking up on the food supplies again for the forthcoming week. She spends her Sundays in Enniscrone enjoying the pleasures of the beautiful sandy beaches. She travels to her home place of Rosscarbery in West Cork whenever the opportunity arises.  The Corkonians have a grá for the home county.

Mary has always been very active in the local community of Claremorris and has returned to Claremorris Tennis Club, a club going from strength to strength each year. She plays in the leagues and tournaments and she can play all year round on the newly-resurfaced courts

Reading is her passion with favourite author being Victoria Hislop followed by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Setting up her book club in 2013 has broadened her reading choices and she enjoys a good debate with her fellow book club members each month.
