Patricia Maloney

Patricia is an experienced and highly-successful Career Coach. She has mentored candidates to achieve successful career outcomes all over Ireland, and, indeed, overseas.
In 1990, she founded the first private college (Park College, Galway) to provide a repeat Leaving Certificate programme to second-level students in the west of Ireland. A pioneer and an innovator throughout her life in education, she saw over 2,500 students pass through the college.
Working closely with so many students helped to develop Patricia’s in-depth knowledge of careers. She possesses an expertise in helping people to realise their full potential.
She is an Honours Graduate of Business Studies from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, an Honours Graduate from NUI Galway with a B. Comm, a. H. Dip. in Education, and a Bachelor of Law (LLB).

Deirdre May

Deirdre May is a Limerick woman who forged a highly-successful career in sales and marketing.

John Moloney

John Moloney is a retired Primary School Principal and current community activist with over 40 years’ experience of disadvantaged education and advancing the lives of people and communities.

Prior to being a Principal, he was a Primary School Teacher (with experience of all classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class), Learning Support Co-Ordinator and Home-School-Community Liaison Co-Ordinator.

John played a key leadership role in the initiation, implementation and successful on-going development of many, Dundalk, initiatives tackling educational disadvantage and social marginalisation.

John’s authentic commitment and altruism is evident in his on-going voluntary leadership roles.

Fintan Dunne

Fintan served for 38 years as an Officer in the Defence Forces and retired in the rank of Commandant. During his service with the Defence Forces, he held a wide range of appointments both at home and abroad. He has served with the United Nations (UN), the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) and the European Union Force (EUFOR).

His career in the Defence Forces has included appointments in Training, Logistics, Planning and Personnel Management.

He has experience of being a member of Interview Boards to fill appointments at all levels in the Defence Forces. Fintan has a Degree in Public Management and is a graduate of the Military College, Command and Staff Course.

John Creevy

John Creevy is an ESL teacher with considerable experience in the field. He’s worked with all levels and ages, teaching various areas from English literature to English for business. 

During his time as a teacher, John has taught business English to university students in accounting and management courses. 

Outside of the world of academia, John has worked with large corporations like Merck, teaching managerial staff and office administrators business communications skills.

Arthur Geraghty

Arthur has 30 years’ experience in the education sector in Ireland, Switzerland and the UK. He has been a principal teacher for 14 years, and has significant experience in recruitment for the sector sitting on interview panels for many schools. He has sat on Boards of Management at secondary and primary levels.

He is a graduate of NUI Galway with a BA in Mathematics and Economics, and a H. Dip. in Education. He also holds a PGCE from the University of Wales, and a P.G. Dip. in Ed L. from NUI Maynooth.

A qualified mentor, he mentors newly appointed principal teachers with the Centre for School Leadership and the Irish Primary Principals’ Network.

His special interests include music, photography, culture and social history; and he has travelled extensively. He has worked in India with Global Schoolroom & University College Dublin, training teachers. He’s a member of the Teacher Network of the National Gallery of Ireland. A Galway man, he enjoys GAA sports and prefers the ‘smaller’ ball to the ‘larger’ one.

He has had articles published on his great-grandmother’s campaign to retain her employment as a teacher “Socks for the King’s Children” (IPPN); and on his work in India with Global Schoolroom (IPPN).

Breda Garvey

Breda has dedicated 40 years to Ireland’s healthcare system, gaining extensive insight and expertise in public service recruitment, particularly within the HSE. Her comprehensive experience spans both sides of the recruitment process, as she frequently participated in interview boards while also providing training and mentoring to interview candidates. Proficient in report writing and editing, Breda excels in helping individuals unlock their full potential, deriving immense satisfaction from guiding them toward successful careers.

She initiated her career as a Speech and Language Therapist and subsequently rose to senior managerial roles across various HSE services, eventually assuming a senior management position in disability services.
