Deirdre May, a Limerick woman who forged a highly-successful career in sales and marketing, has been appointed by a leading career training company to establish its first Limerick office.

“Demand for our CV preparation and interviewing training services is such that opening a Limerick-based office was the logical next step to meet the needs of our clients nationwide,” says Sli Nua Careers proprietor Liam Horan. Sli Nua Careers now have offices in Dublin, Galway, Ballinrobe (Co. Mayo) and Limerick.

Deirdre, who graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, with a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, later moved into sales and marketing and enjoyed 12 years of great success with French Pharmaceutical company, Servier Laboratories.

Throughout her career, Deirdre honed her excellent interpersonal and communication skills. It is these skills, plus her dynamic personality, that she now brings to Sli Nua Careers.

Having both therapeutic and business backgrounds, she provides a unique perspective on navigating today’s complex career issues.

Deirdre will operate the company’s Limerick office in ElmBank, Ballyclough, Co. Limerick.
