Before editing the CV or turning up to the job interview, know the company inside out. Check out the company website, look at their staff profiles on LinkedIn, and if you can, get talking to someone in the company. You may just get an insider’s perspective on the employer’s ideal candidate – and you can make yourself resemble that ideal.
Final tip: a good CV is engaging, regularly amended and invites further discussion.
